Q: What is the difference between
virtual and dedicated hosting? top
A:
Virtual servers host many different web sites on the same computer,
while dedicated servers host only your web site. Dedicated web servers
are ideal for web sites that will receive many simultaneous visitors.
Q: What is a POP3 e-mail account?
top
A: A POP3 e-mail account
is where your e-mail messages are stored. You will choose a user name
and password to access your POP3 account.
Q: What is an e-mail forwarder?
top
A: An e-mail forwarder
receives e-mails destined for one e-mail address (i.e. test@rdtwebs.com)
and forwards it to a different e-mail (i.e. test_two@rdtwebs.com).
E-mail forwarders can forward an e-mail to multiple recipient addresses.
Q: What are the guarantees for web hosting?
top
A: Red Dot Technologies
takes extreme precautions to ensure that there is minimal downtime.
However, even though these precautions are taken, we do not guarantee
uptime of our servers, and hold no liability for loss of business,
income, or web-traffic due to server downtime.
Q: Can I prepay my web
hosting? Is there a discount?
top
A: Yes! and Yes! All
hosting packages can be prepaid by 6 months or 12 months. There is a 6%
discount for prepaying 6 months and a 8% discount for prepaying 12
months.
